Continuing our archival retrospective project finalizing sessions from our first recording laptop, Down Again picks up where Out of Order left off. You can hear things sliding into place as our process refined. Even getting a little more creative with layering on Parasocial Activity. Recorded 2018-2019 these tracks are most similar in template to our string of EPs released in 2019.

All tracks were previously unreleased but played out at parties or included in mixes except for recent discoveries Cold Open & Retcon, culled from overlooked portions of sessions. The halftime feel of these tracks is also touched on in dubstep-tinged Ostensibly Nonplussed but also switches back & forth to full time. Outage Map sounds like electro made incorrectly but with splashing wet flanger on the snare.

However most of the album is in our sweet spot techno to house range like Shadow Band or Nonverbal Miscommunication, respectively. Not taking ourselves too seriously, you can hear our sense of humor in the goofy voice sample on Duh Duh Duh, whooshing synth pads like passing jets on Blue Angles & self-indulgent R2D2 sounding bass synth burbling with snare rolls that will test your patience on Obknokcious.

Unclear at this time whether the next installment will be a full album or shorter run EPs/singles but there is a lot of 2020-2022 material still to comb through. We love you & hope you enjoy.
